Formation
About 10 youths and adults participate in the Confirmation Class each year. Upon completion, participants reaffirm their baptismal promises and make a mature commitment to Christ in the sacrament of Confirmation.
Upper-elementary children and adults can attend Sunday School on Sundays at 9:15 am to further their Christian education.

On average, some 30 of our young people participate in Episcopal Youth Community. Meetings provide fun activities, inspiring discussions, and opportunities to serve. In November 2024, the EYC visited Lord of the Streets Episcopal Church in Houston, where they attended a service led by Bishop Andy Doyle and learned how the ministry of the Lord of the Streets helps homeless individuals and those in need. In December, the EYC prepared seafarer boxes for those who work on ships and boats and spend a significant amount of time at sea.
Both clergy and lay leaders teach Christian education and discipleship classes encompassing a wide variety of topics that encourage stimulating discussion and enhance a deeper experience in one’s journey to become the hands of God throughout the church and the community. Something is offered almost every day of the week.

Mother Celeste leads a weekly bible study group and offers instruction in basic Episcopalian concepts and beliefs. Lay leaders facilitate studies of such topics as the Book of Ruth, Luke for Everyone by N.T. Wright, and Revelations of the Aramaic Jesus: The Hidden Teaching on Life and Death by Neil Douglas Klotz. They also lead prayer, meditation, and contemplation sessions through Lectio Divina and the World Community for Christian Meditation.
