Outreach
Whether directly or through supporting non-profit organizations, the Good Shepherd family is committed to serving those both close to home and in the broader community.

Our various ministries reach out to the homeless, the food-insecure, and those struggling to make ends meet. We provide meeting space in our Mission Center for support groups dealing with mental illness, addiction, and grief.

We conduct periodic blood drives on site to help provide this essential resource to hospitals throughout the greater Houston area. And we welcome visitors to our church with cookies and information about Good Shepherd Episcopal Church.
Feed My Lambs
Once a month, this ministry packs and delivers lunches to residents of a nearby low-income apartment complex.

Operation Santa
For more than 20 years, this seasonal ministry has provided Christmas presents for low- income families with children living in nearby apartment housing. With help from the apartment manager, we get individual wish lists with the names and ages of both children and adults. Good Shepherd parishioners purchase about 135 gifts each season and a team of volunteers festively wrap and deliver them in time for Christmas morning.
Humble Area
Assistance Ministries
HAAM provides essential social and community services to a growing number of people struggling to make ends meet. Good Shepherd Supports HAAM with monetary donations and special drives for specific items, including a food drive in September and a dried-bean collection in November.
Support Groups

ADD/ADHD Family Support, Gamblers Anonymous, Alzheimer’s/Dementia Caregiver Support, and Grief Support meet regularly in our Mission Center.
